But then, when you do actually have that "aha" moment, it is the perfect time because it is when you need it most.
Last week I was sitting on my sofa with other friends from our small group Bible study. We are watching a video series. There was an epigraph of Ephesians 6:19. I read it and thought of all the speaking engagements I have coming up and the verse just hit me between the eyes. I am going to give you the passage with verses 18-20, "With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."
Whoa! So awesome. I think we read chapter 6 of Ephesians and study the armor of God and then it fizzles out in the end of the book...well, maybe just me.
I pray for the ladies I speak to whenever I speak, I pray for wisdom and to say the right thing and that it may encourage them in some way. But this takes it a step further. And not just for those of us who speak to a group, but anyone we talk to.
I want to be a woman who not only loves God but shares about Him is the very best and fullest way. That others may know Him too.
I pray for you fellow sisters and brothers that we may know Him and share the gospel with everyone, being intentional about it.
